AVS Cycling Camp

Asheville Velosports Women's Cycling Camp
Clemson 2006

Day #1: Assessments 4.5 mile time trial
Day #2: Criterium in the morning, Kermesse in the afternoon
Day #3: Long effort and climbing skills up to Ceasers Head
Day #4: Road skills and Pace lines
Day #5: Circuit race, camp completed

Great instructors including former racing pro Kurt Begemann.
This camp was well worth the time and money.
I learned so much and am very grateful for the opportunity to have been there.
I would definitely do this again.

YMCA Sprint Triathlon

This was my first Tri since my ACL injury Feb. 7
My knee felt great and gave me no problems... I am just out of practice from lack of training during this recovering time.
I started my swim too fast and went into oxygen debt... then I could not seem to get into my rhythm.
The bike felt great but my legs were tired from just coming off of a week of cycling camp.
This was the first run I have done since January and I was way slow.
It was a great practice to gage my performance and see what I need to work on.

60 to Georgia

Had an awesome 60 mile ride to Tocca, Georgia. The weather was fabulous. We stopped at the Tocca Java Station for lunch and cool drinks.
